This image photographed by David Foldvari in the May 29, 2008 OP-ED section of the New York Times, caught my attention. I love the singular silhouetted tree with perched birds against the cityscape border. Everyone always looks for nature in the city. The article brings awareness to New Yorkers that the Ridgewood Reservoir on the Brooklyn-Queens border is in danger to be destroyed by the Parks Department to make way for athletic fields so city kids can exercise! No word on the decision but the argument inspired this powerful picture of Greenpeace!
