Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson was everywhere in NYC. His atmospheric sculptures and installations beautified the city, galleries and museums. As Summer comes to an end, this post captures just some of the sensory experiences. The image above is from “Take your Time” at P.S.1. Chris and I felt like we were in one of those overhead shots from ’30s musical follies. The following images feature more of Eliasson’s work and P.S.1 Warm-Up event. At the end of the post are examples of the NYC Waterfall Project by Eliasson. Chris and I toured the project on water taxi with friends Stacy, Jane and Andrew. Jane suggested to view the sites with champagne and made the experience even better!
