News aggregation has either been the success or demise of the newspaper industry, but designer Brendan Dawes has introduced Doodle-Buzz, an illustrative portal to explore the aggregation atop the chaos. Presented at the SXSW Interactive, Dawes has launched his non-linear news feed where you begin with a name or phrase, scribble a line or shape to watch the headlines appear. Keep drawing and the articles display with the link to the original story. Starting the day with a doodle just may make the current news more palatable and definitely keep you distracted! I searched for Michelle Obama and of course sketched a sleeveless dress but it’s a little short.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!! Another creative and fun pass-time! So fun in fact, that I lost track of what I was going to search for while I was “drawing” my search request! I am throwing out my etch-a-sketch!!!
