You can still catch Sun K. Kwak’s site specific installation at the Brooklyn Art Museum until July 5th. The 280 hour abstract mural rendered with masking tape juxtaposes the utilitarian material with Kwak’s sensitive perception of space. The video documents the fascinating process beginning in February, and continuously evolved as the gallery was opened to the public. I’m always attracted to bold gestural shapes.
