This Op-Ed illustration by Milan Trenc, the creator of “The Night at the Museum” series, was originally published in the New York Times June 15, 2005 for a piece by Andrew Vachss titled “Unsafe at Any Age” at the end of the 2nd Michael Jackson trial.
Even beyond the original publication, I thought the drawing memorializes Jackson’s career using the most famous symbol of his escapism.
