Even the “l’enfant terrible” had an appreciation for classical art and Sprouse’s illustrations demonstrate deft skill simply gesturing the figure. With his signature punk rock bravado and a Park Avenue pedigree, the drawings also express wonderful contradiction. Like his clothes, Sprouse’s use of marker weds downtown cool with uptown luxury.
