The Ballet
Checking out tonight’s schedule at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, the band, My Gay Banjo, with the provocative moniker opening for The Ballet, got my attention with their gay-themed folk songs and sometimes mash-ups. And listening to a few tracks from The Ballet with their addictive orchestral pop give a refreshing antidote from the he-said/she-said lyrics into the he+he/she+she melodies.
