I’ve really come 180°s from digital illustration to going for natural mediums. After my marker influence, now I’ve picked up pencils again. The posted sketch, from a long pose last Saturday at the Brooklyn Artists Gym, represents the shadows to slowly create the form. Purposefully, not using an eraser, the drawing keeps all the natural lines. A big difference from multiple “undo’s” found in graphic applications but appreciate all the graphite imperfections.

it’s all about emphasizing that medium and the hand of the artist- two things a computer can never do. love it.
