Your Vegas at Rockwood Music Hall, May 4, 2010
Rockwood Music Hall, the cozy music venue on Allen St is one of New York’s premium performance destinations for indie musicians. Recently adding a larger neighboring 2nd stage, the intimate acoustic sets have expanded to full scale shows. But Rockwood’s swift set-ups between bands, free shows, great service and wine list makes the music club an upscale rarity promoting indie talent.
Last night, British group Your Vegas performed and transitioned Rockwood from its signature lo-fi sound to a pop-rock concert. The group’s polished bravado combined with their grand melodic scale as one reviewer commented ‘leaves you wondering whether to listen or dance.’
