This summer Bliss Lau, jewelry and handbag designer, and Liz Mole, handbag designer at Kate Spade join their creative forces to teach accessory design at Parsons The New School for Design.
The continuing education course is focused on brand identity and creating your own collection of handbags ready for development.
Student designers will choose one of their designs to execute in leather.
Use of sketching and rendering to build a collection of accessories is emphasized in addition to technical aspects that will be covered with a focus on detail sketching.
Class begins June 8th and runs through July 15th meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8:30pm. This course is open to everyone. Visit the Parsons website for more information.
