Bring To Light, a light & projection art festival in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, October 2, 2010.Brooklyn’s art scene continues to take over former industrial districts and now, Greenpoint, neighboring Williamsburg, celebrated Bring To Light the first-ever Nuit Blanche festival in New York last night.
A night arts festival featuring illuminated designs, projection installations and performances, Nuit Blanche events have lit up Paris, Atlanta, Toronto and Los Angeles.
Greenpoint’s waterfront buildings were transformed with animated projections illuminating the vacant spaces and streets. Do Tank:Brooklyn, an interdisciplinary group that advocates creative community events organized the festival.
