Stepping into Michael Angelo’s Wonderland, set in NYC’s fashion Meatpacking District, you’ll be greeted to the larger than life whimsical art works that Angelo curated for his new show, “Art Formerly Known as Prints.” Angelo’s imaginative creative space as boutique, salon and gallery is the perfect backdrop to view and interact with the bold graphic statements.
The monumental art is placed throughout Wonderland ranging from a clever multi-piece installation “The Wrath of God” by Rich Kim to the Prozac induced funny double entendre “You Will Be Okay” by Nicholaus Arnold.
The show, in collaboration with the Printmaking Program at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, is on view at Wonderland through June 18, 2011.
