2011 Parsons BFA Illustration Senior Show

Continuing Parsons Festival 2011, the BFA Illustration Senior Show pushed established boundaries in their group installation ‘Life After Language’. Paper may have been a starting point, but you could see the graduating seniors marketing concepts beyond the page.

Using printmaking, collage, fabric appliqué, stitching and even product design advanced the narrative similar to Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and public street art.
